Entry & Registration
- Where can I get the application form to participate?
- All entries for the event are accepted online only.
- How do I register?
- Registration for runners is available online.

- Is a runner T-shirt included in the entry fee?
- No. The T-shirt is not included in the entry fee and may be purchased separately as an optional item, regardless of race category (Full Marathon, Half Marathon, 5 km Run, or Parent-child Run).
- Can I register on race day?
- No. Same-day registration is not available.
- Can I register as a group with friends?
- Group entry may be available through RunJapan. Please check the site directly.
- I registered individually instead of using group entry. Can I change it?
- Changes to entry details cannot be handled by the race office. Please contact RunJapan directly.
- Can runners with disabilities participate?
- Yes. Participants must agree to the participation terms and join at their own responsibility.

- When will race information be sent?
- For international runners, the race guide will be sent by email in early April, and bibs will be distributed at the main venue on race day.
- Can I change my race category after registering?
- No. Please consider carefully before registering.
- Can one adult participate in the Parent-child Run with two children?
- No. The Parent-child Run requires one adult per child. Please register separately if needed.
- I made a mistake in my registration details. Can it be corrected?
- Entry information is managed by RunJapan, and the race office cannot make changes. Please contact RunJapan directly.
- I changed my transportation from train to car. Do I need to do anything?
- Advance parking reservation is required.

Race Information
- What should I do if I need to retire during the race?
- Please inform course staff. A shuttle bus will return retired runners to the start/finish area at Naganuma Footopia Toyotetsu no Oka Park.
- Are there time limits?
- Yes:
Full Marathon: 6 hours 30 minutes
Half Marathon: 3 hours 30 minutes
5 km Run: 1 hour
Family Run: 20 minutes
Cutoff points will be set along the course. Please follow staff instructions.
- I am running the full marathon. Can I start late?
- Yes, you may start after 9:00, but the time limit is still counted from 8:30, so your available time will be shorter.
- Can I change my Half Marathon start time?
- Yes. You may start anytime between 9:00 and 11:00 without additional procedures.
- Does the Half Marathon time limit depend on start time?
- No. The 3 hours 30 minutes limit is fixed, but cutoff points are based on the final start time (11:00). Earlier starters have more buffer time.
- How often are aid stations placed?
- Approximately every 2 km, with 10 stations per lap. Full marathon runners complete two laps (20 aid points). Water, sports drinks, and local Tohoku foods will be provided.
- Are guide runners allowed?
- Yes. Please contact the race office in advance if accompaniment is required.
- Is there baggage storage?
- Yes, at the main venue. However, it is a simple storage area, so please manage valuables yourself. No coin lockers are available.
- Will race certificates be issued?
- Yes. Certificates will be available online after finishing. Parent-child Run participants receive a finisher’s certificate only (no timing).
- When and where can I receive my T-shirt?
- On race day between 8:00–15:00 at the special tent in Naganuma Footopia Toyotetsu no Oka Park.
Transportation & Accommodation
- Is parking available?
- Yes. However, parking spaces are limited, so carpooling is encouraged.

- I forgot to reserve parking. Can I still apply?

- Are there shuttle buses from nearby train stations?
- Yes. Shuttle buses will operate from:
JR Semine Station (approx. 20 minutes)
JR Kurikoma-Kogen Station (Shinkansen) (approx. 30+ minutes)Shuttles run according to train arrival and departure times. From the venue, buses to both stations depart approximately every 30–60 minutes.
- Is there a fee for the shuttle bus?
- No. All shuttle buses are free of charge. If buses are crowded, priority may be given to runners whose start time is approaching.
- Can I easily get a taxi at Semine Station?
- Availability on race day cannot be guaranteed. Advance reservation with a local taxi company in Tome City is recommended.

- If I arrive at Semine Station at 8:10, can I still make the 8:30 full marathon start?
- Yes. The venue layout is compact, and you may start between 8:30 and 9:00 without disqualification. However, the 6-hour-30-minute time limit is measured from 8:30.

Other Information
- Can the race be canceled?
- The race will be held rain or shine. However, it may be canceled due to natural disasters, earthquakes, or severe weather. No refunds will be issued.
- How will cancellation be announced?
- An announcement will be made at 6:00 AM on race day via the official website and official Facebook page.
- Can I buy a T-shirt after registering without one?
- Yes. T-shirts will be sold at the main venue on race day, subject to availability. Details will be announced via email newsletter and social media.
- How can I apply to exhibit at the Tome Food Festival?
- The festival is managed by the Tome City Tourism and Products Association, not the marathon organizing committee.

- Yes. The nearest hot spring facility is Sakura no Yu, about 20–30 minutes by car from the main venue.
