    Relay Marathon(21km)

    Time Limit 2.5 hours
    Entry Fee 18,000 yen for team of 4-6 runners (additional 3,000 yen per runner up to 8 runners)
    Capacity 300 teams
    Qualifications Anyone who is healthy and is over 7 years old

    Full marathon

    Time Limit 6 hours
    Entry Fee 8,500 yen
    Capacity 1,500 runners
    Eligibility Male or female over the age of 16 with the ability to complete the marathon. Underage participants will need approval from a guardian.

    Half marathon(21.0975Km)

    Time Limit 3 hours
    Entry Fee 6,500 yen
    Capaccity 3,000 runners
    Eligibility Male or female over the age of 16 with the ability to complete the marathon. Underage participants will need approval from a guardian.

    5Km

    Time Limit 45minutes
    Entry Fee 4,500 yen(includes T-shirt)/3,000 yen(not includes T-shirt)
    Capaccity 500 runners
    Eligibility Male or female over the age of 16 with the ability to complete the marathon. Underage participants will need approval from a guardian.

    Regarding Number Cards

    Our partner JTB Corp will be sending out the registration information by e-mail to all the runners in April. You can pick up the runner's package at the main venue either on Saturday, April 25rd, 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., or Sunday, April 26th, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

    Shuttle Bus

    On the race days, the free shuttle bus service will be operated from each bus stop to Naganuma Futopia Park and vice versa. Below is the tentative schedule based on the previous year. Please check the final schedule, which we will announce in early April.

    April 25th (SAT)

    • A)Kurikoma-Kogen Station (about 30 min to the Park)
    • -To Naganuma Futopia Park: From 9:30 to 15:10 at the every time when train stops.
      -Back to the station: Every 30-60 min from 12:00 to 16:00.

    • B)Semine Station (about 20 min to the Park)
    • - To Naganuma Futopia Park: From 9:20 to 15:50 at the every time when train stops.
      - Back to the station: Every 30-60 min from 12:00 to 16:45.

    • C)Tome City Hall (about 15 min to the Park)
    • - To Naganuma Futopia Park: Every 30-60 min from 9:00 to 16:00.
      - Back to the City Hall: Every 30-60 min from 12:00 to 17:00.

    April 26th (SUN)

    • A)Kurikoma-Kogen Station (about 30 min to the Park)
    • - To Naganuma Futopia Park: From 6:00 to 11:10 at the every time when train stops.
      - Back to the station: Every 30-60 min from 10:00 to 16:00.

    • B) Semine Station (about 20 min to the Park)
    • - To Naganuma Futopia Park: From 7:05 to 12:00 at the every time when train stops.
      - Back to the station: Every 30-60 min from 10:00 to 16:00.

    • C)Tome City Hall (about 15 min to the Park)
    • - To Naganuma Futopia Park: Every 30-60 min from 6:30 to 12:30.
      - Back to the City Hall: Every 30-60 min from 10:00 to 16:00

    Parking

    • Please register upon entry to the race.
    • Driver is required to secure a parking place in advance.
    • Parking space 500 yen/car
    • Please note that you will not be able to park your car in the parking space if you have not registered.
    • Parking will be located near Futopia Park.
    • Shuttle buses will be prepared from the parking to Futopia Park.
    • *Tohoku Sake Festival will be held at the Futopia Park, but since drink drive is very strictly restricted in Japan, never drink if you are a driver.

    Participant Qualifications

    • Participants must be cleared by their personal physician to be of sufficient health to take part in the event.
    • Participants must be able to end each event within the allotted time. (The event will end within the Time Limit.)
    • Participants must agree to the terms outlined in the application terms and conditions.

    Application Terms and Conditions

    • The organizer shall not be held responsible for any sickness, injury, loss of personal belongings, or any other accident, beyond the first-aid relief.
    • Once your application form is submitted, no cancellation or change in the race category may be made for any personal reason. No refund requests will be accepted either.
    • Forgery with respect to age and gender, and a replacement runner (runner other than the registered party) shall not be tolerated. Any applicant who commits such wrongdoing will be disqualified.
    • Entry fee will not be refunded in the event of the cancellation of the race due to an earthquake, storm, flood, snow, accident, or epidemic.
    • Overpayment or duplicate payment may not be refunded.
    • All rights associated with the use of any images, photographs, articles and records related to the event, including the names, age and addresses (country, prefecture or city) of participants and their likeness for coverage by TV, newspapers, magazines or by the Internet, and all rights associated with the publicity based on the use thereof shall belong to the organizer.
    • Driver is required to secure a parking place in advance, following the required process.
    • No intoxicated persons are allowed to run the race and drive.
    • Personal information of the participants will be managed by Tohoku Food Marathon Executive Committee, and agree that information regarding the Tohoku Food Marathon & Festival and event sponsor related information may be sent to the participant through mail magazines or mail, before and after the event.

    Other

    The organizer will enroll in insurance. Injuries will be treated within the scope of enrollment.
